Hotel Fars Hatt - Kungalv

The room was good sized and well-kept with bed made for 2, the minibar, as example and safety measures included smoke detectors. The staff there were attentive and helpful❤

The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was marvellous, and the location was beautiful, right next to Bohus Fortress.

We really enjoyed sleeping 2 nights in this hotel. Had great stay in this great property, the staff were nice, location was gorgeous right next to the old fort which is really worth a look...

Size of the room. Noisy, because over the entrance and parkspace. The staff did not know that. We werw given this room in spite og our request for a room without otside noise. Generally the hotel needs renovation.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the "Fars Hatt" and the old fort which is really worth a look. the breakfast has amazing options with a lovely view and very fresh products. - the atmosphere of the hotel is family-oriented.

Liked the beautiful location and the free coffee and tea in the lounge. Also very good and well presented dinner!

Lovely location, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety and the food was constantly replaced. Free coffee and biscuits available throughout the day which was a lovely touch. Did not eat at the hotel on the evening as the meals were a bit pricey and we like to go out on and find local places to eat of which there is plenty of places to eat within 10 minutes walk. Oscars for burgers, pizzas ect - doesn't look much from the outside but the food was absolutely fantastic - also found a great thai resturant. Used the outdoor pool and the jacuzi. Whilst the hotel was very quiet beware that they have a 'disco' on a thursday evening. Whilst it didnt really bother us when we returned from our evening out there was a queue of a least 100 'local' teenagers waiting to go into the 'disco' and around another 100 already inside - the hotel seems to turn into a nightclub for 1 day per week which we found a bit bizarre however the music stops around 1am.

The breakfast had a variety of options and was delicious. the location was charming, close to the canal, church, and city center.

Noise inside the hotel ( from the room next to me ), was too loud.

Nice area, big swimming pool, friendly staff, tasty breakfast with local products, sauna in family room.

Authentic Sweden, with a fortress next door (5-min walk) and a quaint town square (a couple of great restaurants)

No airconditioning, but that is o'k in Sweden most of the time.

Close to a big city (Gothenburg) and at the same time very quiet. Surrounded by beautiful houses and streets at the foot of the impressive medieval castle Bohus.

The hotel arranged an extremely noisy outdor disco/karaoke night for the town dwellers and this kept hotel guest awake late at night.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location is perfect - situated in a nice area opposite the Bohus fortress, it offers a peaceful and picturesque setting. Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm welcome and providing great service throughout my stay. The rooms, although basic, had a very classic feel and were equipped with comfortable beds. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight, with a lovely view and a good selection of hot and cold options.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

The attitude of the manager who was willing to correct an earlier misjudgment by the person responsible for the reception and by doing so changed my impression of the hotel. The hotel caters for conferences and is an excellent location.
